To help prevent distortion/oil canning, the materials used in the Panels are prime quality aluminum and galvanized steel.  Oil canning is an inherent part of light gauge, cold formed metal products particularly, those with broad flat areas. Note however, that jobsite conditions such as temperature variation, unlevel substrate and/or improper installation may aggravate this condition.  Oil canning does not affect the finish or structural integrity of the Panel and is therefore not cause for rejection.
